    Hi there,

I’m very happy with the Advanced Layout Editor feature, however I incurred into an issue.
I installed a plugin called WP Store Locator which allows me to add a list of stores to my website. It works well, but when I want to add details to a single store the Advanced Layout Editor button is not up at the top as usual.

Any idea how I can enable it?

    Hey ufsdispensaries,

So when the plugin is activated the ALB button is no longer available?

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon

    Hi Jordan,

that’s correct, button is not there and I’m forced to used the default editor.
I believe it’s something to do with the store locator plugin overwriting the theme somehow…

Unfortunately I can’t give you access to the back end of the website because I’m currently running it locally, but it would be very easy for you to replicate the issue at your end, just a matter of installing the plugin and editing one of the stores.

    hi there
I just tried the solution I found on this topic
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/wp-store-locator-and-avia-layout-builder/

still no ALB, but strangely ALB is now available in the Options

    ALB in the options

    Solved!

It’s something to do with WordPress 5.0.2, I reverted to the old editor by downloading the Classic Editor plugin and that did the trick… I didn’t like the new editor anyway :P

I recommend updating these instructions so that they work on the latest WP though

    Hi,

Great! Glad it is fixed. You can actually disable the block editor on version 4.5.2. You can find the editor settings in the Enfold > Theme Options panel.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
