    Hi,

    I am struggling to update to the latest Enfold. It is giving me an error message : Download failed. A valid URL was no provided. Could some one help me on how to resolve this issue.

    Also, when I go to the back end of my pages, I now see a section that is not familiar above the Avia Layout Builder. I have attached the link. This is causing issues when I update any info. Please help!

    Hi mayamaria

    You have to update Enfold manually in this case (from version 4.4 to 4.5.1 for example). There are two options:
    1) By plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file
    2) My preferred method, S(FTP). I described it in detail here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-update-via-wp-dashboard-fails/#post-1022202

    Hi Michael,

    Option one didn’t work. I am on option 2 and have just downloaded the File Zilla.
    Where do I sign into FTP? Is the ./wp-content/theme found in the enfold .zip I extracted? I don’t see it.

    Hi Maya

    You can find your FTP information for FileZilla over the account from your hoster.
    Afterwards you should see the root directory from your website in FileZilla, at least this is how it’s done normally.

    By foster do you mean hosting company in which my case is GoDaddy?
