I have the Enfold App Demo on my site and while working on some of the pages, the content erases itself after I update it.

On which particular page is that happening? Did you check for open markup in your content?

I have the same problem.
Does Enfold not work on WP5? Everything was perfectly fine before.
I have updated to WP5 and Enfold 4.51, via FTP. I have updated my token.2 problems.
1. I cannot edit my site. Text boxes blank, cannot place elements below visible ALB items
2. disappearing content• When I try to edit a page, I get a blank screen, I have to reload to get the editor to come up.
• I can’t even get into a text box to check for open markup, the text box opens up blank or in HTML mode, and I can’t see visual mode.
• When I try to go in, it keeps deleting 90% of content on page and i have to go back to a draft, and it does it again. I have tried updating and closing and reopening several times. I tried deleting the text box with the potentially offending HTML, I got rid of the HTML error, but it still deleted my content.
•when I try to insert a layout element, the lower half of the ALB screen goes blank, and keeps popping back up to the top.I tried it with another page, and the promo box comes up blank and I still get the error message below, even though I did nothing to html
• Cannot see “visual” mode. Text mode is a giant hodge podge. no sections, like usual. Didn’t try saving the box, so at least my content didn’t vanish.“It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters. Once all HTML tags are closed the preview will be available again. If this message persists please check your input for special characters and try to remove them.”
(But surely the answer cannot be simply to look for open markup? Enfold pages cannot be so fragile that everything disappears due to an error???)
Link below is with page with disappeared content. (Actually, more content vanished when I reloaded the front end page….)

Installing plugins or deactivating a major part of wordpres are not actual solutions.
It would be great if you would let us know when you’re fixing this problem with the new version of wordpress, as well as offering temporary fixes.Thanks
NEED HELP. — please do not just tell me to look at the WP 5 upgrade page.
I waited 3 days and have tried everything below, and Enfold is still deleting my content upon save. I go back to the draft before and it happens again. And I cannot get my content back from an earlier draft.
even back in WP 4.9, MY CONTENT KEEPS ERASING ON SAVE. And, after updating the ALB stays in “loading” mode and I have to reload to get the page to come up.
This is nightmare. Enfold is eating my pages. This all started when I upgraded to WP 5, as I was prompted to do. Couldn’t you guys have warned us not to upgrade?
Have tried with:

WP4.9
Classic editor plugin
Disable Gutenberg pluginAlso, suddenly the images that are supposed to span the page are crunched to the side. I didn’t even open this page to edit it. It’s happening on other pages, as well.
Grid row Images half way down should lookalike images at bottom. This is happening on other pages, as well.

Please open a new thread and include admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site (your login details will be visible to the original poster otherwise). Also please point on the page where your content is disappearing.
