    I posted on a thread a couple weeks ago about an issue I was having with the Enfold Theme. I saw you helped another guy fix the same problem, and I was hoping you could help us out.

    The issue we are having:

    When clicking “Advanced Layout Editor” when trying to create a new page, nothing happens. The drag/drop function does not appear. It’s like the button is broken.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I see that you are running an old version of the theme which is the likely cause of your problems. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly, or use a plugin like this in order to upload the new zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/.

    So we’ve tried updating our theme using the ways listed in the help doc you provided and our account says everything is up to date. It won’t let us update the theme.

    Hi,

    Did you try to update manually via FTP or use the plugin I linked to? Automatic update won’t work with versions before 4.5 since there has been changes in the Envato API, which is beyond our reach.
