    Hello,

We are currently experiencing problems with the Google Maps widget on our website. Since we updated the theme it does not show at all anymore. It loads in the container as there is a white space in between other elements but the maps do not show. We tested the Google API key, used another one without success. Also changing, or remaking the element gives us no results.

We also had an issue with the YouTube Iframe we had included, which did not work for Mac but we changed that for a YouTube media widget and now works. This is not of big concern at this moment.

If anybody has any suggestions or ideas that could possibly be of help to us, please let me know!

    With kind regards,

    Jarvic.

    Hey milanbrouwer,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi,

I would like to apologize for the delay. I’m getting this error in the console.

    CMMRM_Tooltip is not defined
        at index.php?hm_custom_js_draft=1&ver=1541728952:38 index.php?hm_custom_js_draft=1&ver=1541728952:38 Uncaught ReferenceError:

What is CMMRM? Please deactivate it temporarily then purge the cache. You may need to upgrade to version 4.5 manually or via FTP, because the auto update is not going to function properly on version 4.4.1.

    P.S: Nice site. :)

    Hi,

I can still see the same error in the console.

    CMMRM_Tooltip is not defined
        at index.php?hm_custom_js_draft=1&ver=1542064505:38 index.php?hm_custom_js_draft=1&ver=1542064505:38 Uncaught ReferenceError:

I’m not really sure what CMMRM is. Please disable the plugins and third party scripts temporarily.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Ismael,

CMMRM is a CMMinds plugin called ‘CM Maps Routes Manager Pro’ to show routes on a page with google maps. Making that the website is 90% based on that plugin we cannot disable it whenever we want. Next week I will try and disable it including all other things and update Enfold to the newest version. I will report back to you after that to see if that fixed our bug!

We do have a Demo site which is more or less outdated yet the plugins are active and we do have the JS error there, but the map still works. Posted the site in the private section.

So in short: I will report to you next week with the results of updating enfold!

    With Kind regards,

    Jarvic.

PS: Thanks for the continuous support!

Same issue here… maps are fine in 4.2.6, white in 4.5. I have a thread where I’m not getting support. I’ve created a temp admin login per their request and no one has replied. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/map-not-showing-in-enfold-4-5-i-have-api-key/ The 4.5 update definitely broke this. I built a dev site with all plugins disabled and only the 4.5 theme and a child theme installed and it didn’t work.

I removed ALL plugins, ALL custom CSS, ALL custom functions.php entries… leaving only a vanilla 4.5 theme and the child theme downloaded from the above link. When I activate the default 4.5 theme, maps work. When I use the child theme provided by Kriesi, they don’t.

I fixed mine. See my above thread. You may be calling a jquery library somewhere in a custom area too…

    Hi,

    @milkboy31
: I would like to apologize if you didn’t get a timely support but I’m glad that you found the issue. Thanks for sharing. I hope it helps Jarvic.

    Hello,

    @milkboy31
, you are a godsend! This indeed was the problem, commented out the script and the map works once again! It turned out to be the same library in the footer.php.

Here is a quick guide for the people that are facing the same issue.

-Login to your server through FTP-> go to: /public_html/wp-content/themes/yourtheme(Either main theme or child theme)/footer.php and open/edit it.
-Scroll down to the script tags and find the following rule: <script src=”//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js”></script>
-Comment it out with <!–*script goes here*–> and save!
Click here to see the image!

If you did not find the script here, make sure to check your main theme/child theme’s footer.php!

I hope this could be of help to anybody with the same issue! And once again, thank you Milkboy31 and Ismael!

    With kind regards,

    Jarvic.
