October 31, 2018 at 3:09 pm #1028498Hey Theo,
Envato updated their API, therefore we needed to adjust auto updater function in Enfold files.
It currently works fine but since updated code is in Enfold 4.5, manual update would be necessary, either via FTP – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#reinstall-or-update-using-ftp or alternatively, you can install this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/, download the latest version of Enfold from ThemeForest and upload it in Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload and theme will be updated.
Also, some users reported an issue validating personal token – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#what-is-an-envato-personal-token. Our devs suspect that Envato stores cookies with login data/connection data in the browser and therefore might block requests. If that happens to be the case, please try validating your personal token in incognito mode – https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
Auto updater should function correctly again after updating to Enfold 4.5 and inserting a valid personal token in Enfold theme options.

October 31, 2018 at 3:27 pm #1028503Hey,
No, your content is saved on your database. Updating the theme will only overwrite theme files.
If you use this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/, you can go to its settings and choose to have a backup of your current version, just in case you made changes on theme files such as functions.php, header.php etc.Best regards,
YigitOctober 31, 2018 at 4:01 pm #1028510Hi Yigit,
When i login to themeforest i dont see the latest version enfold theme.
Have tho buy newone?
only see all the theme i download before.
Also see my api keys.
How i solve this?Regards
TheoOctober 31, 2018 at 4:05 pm #1028511Hey,
Enfold 4.5 is available to download in your Downloads page. Please download and install it. You would not need to purchase another license.
API keys are no longer in use. With Envato’s new API, you would need to generate and use personal tokens – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#what-is-an-envato-personal-tokenCheers!
YigitOctober 31, 2018 at 4:18 pm #1028520Hey,
Sorry Yigit i dont see the update in themeforest.
I see my 12 downloads of enfold i used.
I seen nothing about 4.5 to download and update.Regards
TheoOctober 31, 2018 at 4:35 pm #1028525Hey Theo,
Sorry for misunderstanding. What i meant to say was Enfold copies you have in ThemeForest downloads page are Enfold 4.5. You can simply go to downloads page, download a copy of Enfold and install it.
If you would like us to update the theme for you, please post WP admin logins here privately.
Cheers!

Thanks allot for the help.
Is this a problem with the enfold template after the last update?Css merging disabled, so whe better remove mayby this pluging ** Autoptimize**
Kind regards,
TheoMay 2, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1096520Hi,
Thank you for writing to us.
The theme update process is not related to this issue. It usually takes some time for the cache to expire. You can enable CSS merging again after 48 hours and it should work fine.
If you like to use a third party plugin please disable the CSS and JS merging options. You can try “W3 Total Cache” plugin.
Best regards,
