GuestDear Kriesi, please can you advise me, I have not been able to obtain a satisfactory answer from my web host. (I have sent this query to your FB page too)
The web host (one.com) has enfold 3.3.2 as its most recent update as one of several WP and other themes that were purchased from themeforest on its user dashboard. I have loved using enfold and am very pleased with my website other than this new issue.
Due to an enforced upgrade of PHP from the current version 5.6 to 7.2 by December, and running a PHP compatibility checker which seems to indicate that things are fine with all the plugins and themes, but, on converting to PHP 7.2 the website showed a fatal error.
The web host tells me I have to check the compatibility of the enfold theme purchased from themeforest in 2016 (3.3.2) with PHP 7.2 – which according to them – is the issue here (I don’t know if this is true or not)Please could you comment on this and explain how to ensure that my version (3.3.2) of enfold is compatible with the update to PHP7.2 ?
I hope you can help as I only have to the 3rd December to sort this out before the compulsory update to PHP7.2

Thanks for contacting us!
You are currently using a very old version of Enfold which is not compatible with PHP7.2. We have added many improvements, fixes and additional features to Enfold since version 3.3.2 and trying to fix issues on your currently installation would take so much time.
We would recommend you to purchase an Enfold licence and update Enfold to the latest version 4.5 which is compatible with PHP 7.2.
If you purchase your own license, you would be able to receive auto updates of theme using a personal token – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#what-is-an-envato-personal-token and to register to our support forum using your purchase code to receive support by us whenever necessary :)I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
Cheers!
