    I need assistance updating a site, as the most current version is giving me errors. Please let me know what else you need to access. I will need an email address to link to google drive zip file of the template.

    Hey jdkdesign,

    Thanks for the login details, did you try to update it yourself? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly.

    If you need help updating then we need FTP login details as well, and to know that you have backups of your site in case something should go wrong.

    Yes, I’m getting error messages trying to update the theme. I’ve added FTP access.

    Workaround

    1. Download the latest Enfold update from themeforest

    2. Open the admin part of your wordpress site and download the pluging called Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File
    >make sure you select the option within this plugin to generate an automated backup from your current theme

    3. Go to themes, upload the entire enfold zip-file and install the new theme (do not delete any old theme from the theme overview)
    > the plugin will update the theme without overwriting any other things; it justs updated the theme.

    4. Activate the theme

    Hi,

    Could you please post FTP logins here privately as well?
    Edit: I thought you reverted to older version but it seems like you are using Enfold 4.5 and site loads fine on my end. Have figured it out already?

    Glad you all is well now.
    From now on, there should not be any issues with auto updater. We will publish a blog post about Enfold 4.5 soon with more information :)
