An error occurred while updating: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided
Hi this is a new thread as requested… please can you help update my theme as I cant get around this error…

There is a fix for the this problem included in the latest version of the theme, but this time you will have to update manually unfortunately. This plugin should enable you to upload the .zip file downloaded from your Themeforest account. Could you try that out please? You can also update manually via FTP if you prefer that: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

Ok, I’m not sure who they are, but we can update for you. Please post WordPress admin details along with FTP login details in private. Also make sure that you have proper backups of the site in case anything should go wrong and you need to roll back.

October 16, 2018 at 2:51 pm #1022213Hello, I too had this problem and used the plugin you recommended above to update and the update worked fine.
However, after the update, I noticed that my fullwidth submenus’ links no longer work and all submenus are now somewhat transparent (which I do not want), and now you can see images and text through the submenu when scrolling down. I’ve added a sample link for you to see what I’m saying.
Also, is it okay for me to now delete that plugin? Or do I need to keep it there?
