I’m trying to add a background image to our footer. It’s not showing. The footer is on one page only of our site:
I even changed the background color and that’s not updating either.
I’ve tried clearing all cache and deactivated any caching plugins. Still not working. Please help!
Thanks,

Did you add the required css to the very top of quick css so that it will run first?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonOctober 2, 2018 at 4:34 am #1016846Yes I used the general styling then footer tab. I added the background image and configured everything properly. The preview in general styling looks correct, it’s just not being applied to the actual site.
October 2, 2018 at 6:29 am #1016895Hi,
Is the footer section the one with the newsletter sign-up? If so then the background image is displaying fine on my end. Please try clearing your browser cache and reload the page or try loading it in an incognito window using Chrome.

I cleaned the cache, opened in other browsers and it does not work.
if you go back to version 4.5.3, then it worksApril 24, 2019 at 10:17 pm #1094204I tested it in version 4.5.4 and it works too.
but in versions 4.5.5 and 4.5.6 there are no background images in the footer and socketApril 26, 2019 at 5:06 am #1094614Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Did you toggle the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the background images? Please disable the cache and minification plugins temporarily if there are any.
