Tagged: Top
Hi,
I found that if I located at a main menu page of enfold sites, like “Home”, the url link of the page will be added a #top tag (https://www.xxxxx.com/#top). It is boring if someone like to refresh the page by click the link. And there is also a “get to top” function botton on every page.
How can I remove the #top on the main menu.
Hey yundian,
The browser is trying to find the first anchor in the page and it ends up on the #top anchor which is used to scroll the page to the top of the window when the user has scrolled down.
So removing it will also remove that ability but will also prevent a lot of the theme css which uses the top ID as part of its selectors.
Best regards,
Jordan Shannon
I mean the “get to top” function botton on every page to scroll the page is enough,
There is no method to keep the main menu link nature without #top?
Hi,
Thanks for the update, where can we see the results you are getting?

Just such as your own site: https://kriesi.at/, If you located at this “Home” page, put your mouse on the main menu “Home”, you can see its url is https://kriesi.at/#top.
Other url of main menu is same problem
In fact, this is useless
Hi,
That is the way anchor links work, you might be able to do the same thing with JavaScript but we have decided not to do so.

Hi,
That’s needed for the back-to-top arrow to function correctly.
