Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

September 27, 2018 at 5:17 pm #1015394Hi onedesignprint,
Those are song titles and so they have the quotes.
You might want to edit this file to remove them
/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/audio-player/audio-player.phpIf you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaSeptember 27, 2018 at 5:27 pm #1015399in a source code teeming with quotation marks (double and single ones) I think it would be helpful to name the place.
and by the way – this comes from wordpress itself: media.php on line: 1819ff
“%s”
. different lines – hard to find – even for a coder. ;)see next post

September 27, 2018 at 6:50 pm #1015443hm board soft changes even under code tag the quotation marks – i make a screenshot that you can see what is the fact:

or for copy paste look here:
https://pastebin.com/gc8xNnQbso put this to your child-theme functions.php
October 1, 2018 at 2:16 pm #1016641Guenni, thanks for your help.
But I am a little confused, so I need to do the following:
edit the code in /enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/audio-player/audio-player.php ?
If this correct, where? Or do you mean media.php, if so how do get to it?
Thanks
ODPOctober 1, 2018 at 4:19 pm #1016675no – do not edit that file. The setting is a wordpress setting and not an enfold setting:
all you have to do is read carefully:or for copy paste look here:
https://pastebin.com/gc8xNnQb
so put this to your child-theme functions.phpif you are not working with a child-theme – a lot of those fine snippets here on board are harder to apply – and are lost on next enfold update. So it is a good thing to know how to setup a child-theme
October 1, 2018 at 4:24 pm #1016677you can see here some info about Child-theme and you can download a predefined Child-Theme.
There is allready – at the beginning nearly empty – a functions.php in it.https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/
October 2, 2018 at 5:15 am #1016856October 3, 2018 at 4:15 pm #1017561Hi Guenni
I am not using child theme, but thanks for the advice.
What is the way around it without using a child theme?
As my wordpress knowledge is limited and really just need a quick fix.
Thanks
ODPOctober 4, 2018 at 10:36 pm #1018024You put it in the functions.php of your parent theme at the very last entry
you can try it after the place where this is listed:
/* * register custom functions that are not related to the framework but necessary for the theme to run */
but – as said before these entries are definitly lost on next enfold update.
On editing such important files – please be sure you got ftp access – to make a rollback if needed.
a missing semicolon or wrong Quotation Marks and you can not edit it via dashboard ( because white screen of death).October 6, 2018 at 5:55 pm #1018541February 9, 2024 at 7:24 am #1433761 -
