    This is the error we get when trying to update theme. The theme has not been updated for years.

    “Updating Theme Enfold (1/1)
    Downloading update from …
    An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

    Disabling Maintenance mode…
    Attention: We detected some custom styling rules in your custom.css file and restored it ;)
    All updates have been completed.”

    Yet I double checked the API code and the user

    Hey Dave,

    Thanks for the login details, I see that you are running a very old version of theme. A lot has changed in the theme since then, so I think it would be safer if you updated manually via FTP instead. If you have the possibility to update on a staging version first then that would be even better. https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly.
