    Hi Support,

    We’re currently havign similar problem to what I’ve read other people experiencing but theres been no resolution in other threads where it seems the owners have just given up.

    A clients site that we manage utilises the ‘blog post’ option on their news page and currently has 61 posts to be displayed in this category, they list 21 of them on the page before pagination kicks in.

    Pagination is displaying correctly showing ‘1 2 3’ pages available.

    However clicking on ‘2’ or ‘3’ does nothing but reload the same first 21 posts, so the URL is updated to show the next page, but the actual page content shows only the first 21 and not the next 21 posts.

    ie.

    ws/page/2/
    ws/page/3/

    But no difference in actual content.

    Hopefully you can assist with what is happening here as the lack of errors being displayed/logged anywhere is making fixing this ourselves quite problematic.

    I should mention, I have tested with the parent theme – still fails

    removed the child functions.php – still fails

    The exact same behaviour, the same posts show up on page2 as page1

    Hi,

    Please check the login credentials. I just get the error “ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?”.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thanks for the URL and login details, I got into the site now. I see that you have changed the name of the parent theme and it looks like it’s an old version? The current version of the theme is 4.4.1, could you try updating to that please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old parent theme before you upload the new version, alternatively you could rename the old version before you upload the new one.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Updating the theme has seemed to fix those issues, except I cannot deploy the changes as there is now this ‘advance_menu_toggle’ and ‘advanced_menu_hide’ that is being displayed in the header and I can’t hide it.

    Any way to hide this after the parent theme update?

    Hi fluffyduck,

    You need to update the file /enfold/includes/helper-main-menu.php with a fresh copy. That html should not be present in the header anymore.

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    I’ve done that and now its destroyed the header on the site, seems the previous dev put a lot of custom elements in it.

    Surely its easier to simply hide 2 elements instead of having to rebuild the entire header?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, though I can’t see the element you are referring to in the header. Did you manage to hide them already? If not then please post a screenshot highlighting the problem.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I see them now. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide {
      display:none !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Success that seems to have done it!! I thought I tried that exact line but I must of mistyped it or had cache issues, the bar at the top is now hidden and the standard header is still displayed.

    Excellent, thank you!
