    One question: Does it make any difference if Youtube videos are inserted in posts using the Youtube standard link or the theme shortcode? Regarding the speed of the website?

    Hey Susanne,

    I don’t think there should be any difference, but you can test by comparing in speed tools like Pingdom, GTMetrix or Uptrends.

    Hi Susanne,

    I don’t think there are any tricks to loading Youtube videos faster since you are fetching all the data from Youtube, any plugin/element/embed should work roughly the same.
