Hi, I feel like this used to work for me but now doesn’t. I have to trigger a lightbox of a video from an image or text link. It pops up fine, but upon trying to play, it gives an error. It happens no matter the video, and that same video works under a normal embed (simply pasting in a text block) or using the video module, etc. There are no errors related to YouTube in the console, and I have diabled the site protection against loading mixed content, but that hasn’t helped. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Mick

    Hey mickfollari,

Can you give us a link to your site? so we can check further.

    Best regards,

Nikko- I can give you a link, but it’s in Maintenance Mode, so I’d have to send you a login for you to see it. I’ll set one up and send privately. This temp site is here: http://www.jamieyorkmath.com/. What email should I use for your credentials?

    Hi mickfollari,

Looks like this youtube link parsing error is the bug in Chrome, here is where you can read more about it.

Victoria- Thanks for checking. Yes I do see that error in the console on my end too. The strange thing is that on a page where I just embed the videos, I still see that error but they play just fine. It’s only when in a magnific popup that they don’t. Also, in Chrome, yes there is that error. In Firefox I don’t get that error, but they still don’t play in Magnific. Anyway, I’m not sure what to do about it except look for another way around it.

    Hi,

I have created a test page with the same settings as the one you gave (link in private content), I used this format for it to play properly:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID

As for your video, the link I used is also in private content. Let us know if you need further assistance :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko

NIkko, thanks. Not sure why that link worked and not the other but your solution works great. Much Appreciated!
