I’m on the latest version of WordPress, Enfold and Yoast SEO. For some reason, Yoast SEO isn’t picking up some of the SEO like keyword phrases through the page, alt tags on images. I contacted Yoast and they said it might be an issue with Avia or Enfold. I can’t seem to find what’s causing it.
Under Enfold>SEO Support, should I change it to ‘Let SEO plugin set this tag’?
Hey John,
Where can we see and reproduce the problem you are having? Please note that Yoast cannot read the content of your site if it’s created with the theme layout builder, and alt tags won’t be read if the images are used as background images.
The option in the theme is for meta tags only, if won’t affect your actual content and weather or not Yoast can read it properly.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update and login details. The alt tags are there for your images on the front end, please see private. But like I mentioned earlier; Yoast cannot read content which is created with the layout builder, since it’s all in shortcode. That is why it’s not picking up on the alt tags in the content slider. This is a known problems which we unfortunately don’t have a solution for. Your actual SEO won’t suffer because of this.
Best regards,
Rikard
I figured it out, thanks! You can close this.
Hi John,
We’re glad that you figured it out.
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!
Best regards,
