Hi team,
Yoast SEO doesn’t seem to work properly when using the advanced layout editor. The improvements messages I get are not relevant to my text (for example, “you are not using your key phrase in the intro” when my key phrase is in the intro or “images do not have alt text” when they all have)
I tried to copy the entire post and paste it into a new post using the default WP editor and then the Yoast SEO plugin works perfectly.
It looks like if the Yoast SEO plugin can’t properly read the text when I am in the advanced layout editor.
I searched in the forum and no one seems to have this type of problem. Does anyone have any idea?
Kind regards,
Nico
I should also add that the highlight error function of Yoast does not work with the advanced layout editor.
Hi,
Please try this one:

and let me know if the results is what you need.

Hi Basilis,
Thank you for that. Could you tell me more about this extension (what it does and why it is not included in the theme by default?)
I am guessing I need to install it manually as another plugin?
Kind regards,
Nico
Hi,
Yes, this is just a quick fix if something is not functioning for a reason.
Over our last update I can see that Yoast is working with my installation, so not sure why not working over your web site.
Best regards,
Basilis
