Hi All,
I have the latest version of Yoast installed and the latest version of Enfold theme 4.4.1, all my plugins are up to date and i’m using the latest version of WordPress 4.9.8.The Yoast lights do not show where they would usually in the right hand side “Publish Tab’. Also the “READABILITY” “KEYWORD” and “ADD KEYWORD” tabs do not show in the main Yoast SEO section in a page, though the SNIPPET PREVIEW works fine.
I have disabled all plugins and deleted Yoast and reinstalled it but this didnt help.
A friend has a site that uses the same version of Yoast, WordPress and Enfold Theme but his Yoast looks fine. He is using the on page Advanced Layout Editor the same as I am and we are both using a child theme.Does anyone know what the problem could be, why Yoast looks fine on one site and the other site it doesn’t show?
Thanks

I can’t reproduce it on my PCs. I tried IE, Firefox and Chrome and Yoast works just fine for me. I didn’t get any javascript errors in the console, etc.
I suspect a browser plugin/extension or a firewall breaks Yoast on your PC. Please try to view the website with another browser and another PC. I’d recommend to ask your friend to check the website too.
I’ll leave this thread open for the other support members – maybe they can reproduce the issue.

DudeAugust 13, 2018 at 3:47 pm #996734Hi Peter,
Thanks for your help.
I am using a mac and have not had this problem before over 10 or so sites that I am using Yoast on. I have used, Chrome, Firefox and Safari both on my imac and a Macbook and the error is present in every browser. I looked at my friends site on my mac also but the problem was not there so i don’t think it’s a mac problem . If i delete Enfold and reinstall it will my settings be saved in the database or will i need to spend time resetting my preferences?Kevin
August 13, 2018 at 3:58 pm #996739Hey!
No, the settings in the database won’t be affected if you reinstall Enfold. I’d recommend to make a backup of the database though – just to be on the safe side.
Cheers!
