On the web site’s dashboard, on the SEO page under its Dashboard I get this error message.

    General – Yoast SEO

The following file is blocking your XML sitemaps from working properly. Either delete it (this can be done with the “Fix it” button) or disable Yoast SEO XML sitemaps.

    /home/prof328e/public_html/sitemap-index-mobile.xml

Yoast recommends using the Fix it button which deletes the line of code. Will deleting this line of code stop the web site from being responsive to mobile devices?
Will deleting the line of code cause the site to blow up?

I had the programmer that built the web site fix the problem, but the error message keeps coming back.

    Hey Hyram,

That is only an xml file and it won’t cause any problems if you remove it, to be sure you can back it up locally first before you delete it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
