    Hey everyone

I read a lot about this as a lot of people seem to have issues on this but nothing I did worked.

I too ran a GTMetrix and got an F for Serve Scaled Images

My site is apimaye-usa.com and it’s got woocommerce as well.

My home page has a product strip for 5 products, and my shop page shows 3 images per row so the image sizes are different from home page to the shop page.

    I have:
    Simple Image Sizes
    EWWW Image Optimizer
    WP Smush

EWWW has an option to highlight every image that’s scaled if you are logged in as the admin. I looked at the images and my woocommerce strip says: Forced to wrong size: 224×224 from 450×450, and my images that were in 1/4th page sections from advance layout editor says: Forced to wrong size: 242x*** (multiple images at different heights).

So I went ahead and created new sizes at simple image editor. One for max width 224, another max width 242 and made the heights 999 for both. I purged Siteground cache and then cloudflare cache.
I rechecked and it still gives me the same warning on GT and highlight on images through EWWW.

    What can I do?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey KorhanKaftan,

Well, the images used for products are still 450x450px and on a single product page the images are even bigger, so yes you might want to look into this a bit more

Set WooCommerce image dimensions upon theme activation

Organize your content and product images

    Best regards,
    Victoria
