Hey guys,
I have enfold currently installed on my site. However, the editing bar is missing when I try to edit the text using the advance layout builder. So far I’ve done the following:
- Disable all plugins, open a different browser, clear the cache and checked, still there
- Checked for updates
- Re-uploaded the theme via FTP with a fresh copy from ThemeForest
Not sure what else to do.
I’ve posted the link and login details below for you to take a look at the site.October 1, 2015 at 10:19 am #512049Hey BDerrick,
I’m seeing the same thing using the default editor and the text tab is not selectable. I’m pretty sure that it’s a conflict with a plugin, do we have permission to deactivate your plugins temporarily for testing purposes?
Thanks,

October 2, 2015 at 6:06 am #512543Hey,
Turns out I was wrong, could you try to reinstall WordPress please? https://trustiko.com/reinstall-wordpress-from-dashboard-and-cpanel/. If that should not work then please try to overwrite all theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP as well: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Thanks,
RikardOctober 11, 2015 at 2:07 am #516888Hi all!
I tried reinstalling WordPress and uploading the them files again. None of that work. I did some Googling and found an article from WP Beginner that if I added this line of code to the wp-config file:define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);
It fixed the problem.
Not exactly sure what this does…if anyone can shine some light onto it, I would love to hear it.October 12, 2015 at 11:45 pm #517765Hi!
did you delete all theme files via FTP completely before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account? if not please do so, because otherwise some corrupted files could stay. Make sure to keep plugins deactivated while testing.
Best regards,
AndyOctober 14, 2015 at 2:51 am #518468Hi Andy,
I did that too, and uploaded a fresh copy of WordPress as well and still had the problem. Added the line of code to the wp-config file and it works now.
BTW: It was having the same issue on the regular default theme as well.October 15, 2015 at 10:21 am #519099 -
