Hi Just a quick question.
on my homepage at the top, when I click on edit frontage, it takes me to the backend but the premlink shows as: http://www.website.co.uk/homepage why is there a /homepage there? can I get rid of it?
here is the link to my site: goo.gl/gJBSs
Thanks

Hi navidsatan,
WordPress views all pages as actual pages within your wordpress admin. So you could have any page be the actual front page of your site and the permalink under the page title will be whatever you want it to be but is disregarded when being uses as the themes frontpage.
So there isn’t a way to get rid of it and there also isn’t a need to.

Devin
Hi Thanks
ok can you please have a look at the screenshot attached?
http://postimg.org/image/3x85rkv4z/
if you look at the premlink it says http://www.vivowebmatketing.com/homepage.
but all my other wordpress sites, it just says http://www.ABCDE.com/
Hi,
You can get change the permalink manually.
http://www.vivowebmatketing.com/ do not exist.
