Hi guys,
I am taking over as the webmaster of our company’s website. The previous webmaster made all CSS changes via the Quick CSS inside Enfold’s settings. I just want to transfer that custom CSS code to custom.css (that’s easier to edit for me).
So I have updated the Custom.CSS file with that code, but can’t get the website to load the new version. Specifically, in the source code it seems to be trying to load the /custom.css?ver=2 . Any other “ver” number and the updated custom.css loads just fine (ver=1, ver=12389 or no ver at all) but the ver=2 is the one that’s referenced in the HTML code.
Why can this be happening and what can I do about it?
November 12, 2015 at 10:10 pm #535105You could use a childtheme, see
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/November 12, 2015 at 10:12 pm #535106Thanks, but I don’t want to use a child theme. There are very few modificaitons I wanna make and just being able to change custom.css would be very convenient for me.

November 13, 2015 at 4:30 pm #535497There are no caching plugins. I have tried disabling all plugins but it doesn’t help!
November 13, 2015 at 4:43 pm #535504Today when I woke up it had updated to the correct version. But again when I edit it it doesn’t show. I don’t wanna have to wait a day every time I edit my custom.css!
One more thing: Even if I delete custom.css it still loads….

ask your host if they are using any kind of caching on your server.
Best regards,
