hi
I am having a problem with a multilingual post I just made. the links are below.
The english post is fine, with the correct url showing, with the title of the post and if I share it on FB I get the image and text.
The danish post only shows the parent url, although if I copy it it’s correct but kind of garbled (with “%e2%80%a8” before the post title) and if I share it on FB there is no feature image. I’ve checked both posts and can’t find anything set differently on the danish page.
If you check the other danish posts they are fine.
can you see what’s going on?
thanks for your help
Nancy
Hey Munford,
Can you try to upload the featured image again to the translated post. It seems the issue is with the wpml plugin’s featured image.
Best regards,
Nikko
I uploaded the image again, but the issue is the same.
not sure what’s going on. the slug/url is correct when I look at I in the post lists and also when you hover over the danish flag switcher if you are on the english post.
can you take another look?
Hi,
I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
Best regards,
Andy
How can I deactivate the plugin when I can’t acess the backed admin?
Hi,
deactivate them via FTP.
Best regards,
Andy
