I can’t translate the text within my pages. I’m not sure if it’s due to the wpml 3.8 or a setting I haven’t applied but I can’t get it to work. I’ve followed the steps in here –
When I go to create a translation for a page, I only see the title field to translate.

WPML is loading very slow. Which version of php are you running?I was able to see the whole page content, when I pressed on the translation form the page editing.

VictoriaThanks. It was 5.4 but I’ve now changed to 7.0. I can see the About page is now showing all avia blocks, but the homepage only shows title and one other field to translate?
Hi,
If you’re using the advance layout builder, try duplicating the page to another language instead of translating it. If you translate a page, you have to add the content again manually.

Did you translate the posts? If you’re planning to add posts to the page, use “translate” instead of “duplicate” then add the elements (e.g Blog Posts) manually.

Did you set the page as front page in the theme options? Please note that each language has a different theme options.

IsmaelThank you – that has sorted the homepage. The team page which has the portfolio items still has troubles however – it doesnt show the Featured Image, and when I go to translate a portfolio item, the Preview Text is not an option to translate so this also isn’t shown?
