I opened a thread regarding problems with language switcher and 404 errors. For some reason Dude’s reply on May 5 never reached me. I see “This reply has been marked as private.” which of course defeats the effort. And the thread has been closed.
Unfortunately, the problem has NOT been resolved. I’ve spent hours here and on the WPML support forum trying to get the erroneous 404 problem resolved. Actually there’s a redirection in place and this is not a theme issue. If I deactivate the “Redirection” plugin the http://www.amequipment.com/es/ url does not redirect me to http://www.amequipment.com/es/la-serie-2d/ . Please configure the redirection plugin properly or (if you think it’s an incompatibility issue with WPML) try to contact the plugin author to fix this issue.
