I am trying to create a button to link to another page on the site.
In the original DE language this is fine – I create the button, and in the Link Settings choose “Page” and select the page I want from the list.
But, having copied the DE content to the EN page when I try to change the button so that it links to the EN page, I am only offered a dropdown list of the DE pages, even though the language for this page is EN. At first I thought it might be because I’d copied over the content so I tried to add a new button to the EN page instead, but I still only get offered the DE pages to link to.
I’m not sure if this is a theme or a WPML issue.
Can you investigate?
Thanks
Actually when I look at the page on the front end, the URL is correct for the button to link to the EN page – so it appears to be a backend issue in that the Link Settings dialog is listing the DE pages rather than their EN equivalents but then it creates the link correctly.
Hi,
We are sorry for the late reply!
Could you please update Enfold to the latest version 4.7.6.3 and WordPress to 5.5 then try switching to parent theme and check if that helps? I am note sure what exactly is wrong but I am guessing it might be modified WPML config files on your child theme or old WP version.
If suggestions above does not help, please post FTP logins here privately as well :)
Best regards,
Yigit
