Hello, the code blocks on my site are not detected by WPML, so when I am done translating a page with the Classic Editor, I save that and the I go to the page in that language, where I replace the code block for the new one in that language and save the page. Everything Ok up to here.
Then let’s say I want to make a correction on the text, so I open the Classic WPML Editor for that page and I correct that line.I save it and go to see the page. The corrected line is ther, BUT THE CODE BLOCK I had translated in the page is gone and the page is showing the CODE BLOCK in the original language again.
Then I have to go to the page in that language and edit the code block there again to include it in the new language but if I later use the Classic WPML editor to edit that page the code block I translated goess back to the original language again.
How can I handle this? Can anyone help me?
Best regards,

Thank you for the inquiry.
Where can we check the issue? Please upgrade the theme to version 4.9.2.2, then provide the site details in the private field so that we can test it.

Thank you for the info.
Is there a test page where we can actually check the issue? Please make sure to update the theme to version 4.9.2.2, then post the site details in the private field so that we can check the dashboard and the WPML settings.

IsmaelApril 1, 2022 at 3:51 pm #1346911Hello Ismael, I already told you the theme is updated.
I have set up a page for you to make tests an play around. I’t been translated to french. The vídeo playing is in french and all the links in “code boxes” are in french in the french page.
You will notice that as soon as you go to Translations and make one change in it, the contento of all the “code boxes” in the french vesion will go back to spanish. Also the video will go back to spanish.
On the other hand, I have a onmouseover code in some of the code boxes in spanish but when I copy them in the code boxes of the french version, and I click save or update, they are gone ! The onmouseover effect is not working in the languages…
I have also set up a user an pwd for you.

AngelApril 1, 2022 at 6:19 pm #1346923Hi #Ismael,
in several tickets you recommend to upgrade to version 4.9.2.2
But where can you download this version from?
In the Style.css file of the version I just downloaded, it says:/*
Theme Name: Enfold
…
Version: 4.9.2.1
…*/Best regards,
OrianoApril 2, 2022 at 12:02 am #1346939Hello Ismael. I go to ENFOLD CHILD > THEME UPDATE and it says “NO UPDATES AVAILABLE. YOU ARE RUNNING THE LATEST VERSION! (4.9)”
Then I click CHECK MANUALLY anyways and the response is YOUR THEMES ARE UPDATED.
So I will need further indications if you want me to do an update that is not available…
Sending you link attached.
And I sent you username and other data in an earlier reply today.

AngelApril 4, 2022 at 5:18 am #1347089Hi,
Sorry about the update info. The latest version is actually 4.9.2.1. Now back to the issue, we created a test page, added a code block, translated the page to FR and the code block remains on every update. Please make sure NOT to edit the translated page using the Advance Layout Builder and always use the default WPML translation editor. For the existing pages, try to save the content of the original page as template, delete it and its translations, then recreate them from scratch.

IsmaelApril 4, 2022 at 5:24 am #1347090Hi,
UPDATE: I accidentally added a text block in the test page and this is the only element that displayed in the translation editor, but not the code block. Please try to update the theme to version 4.9.2.1 manually via FTP.

April 6, 2022 at 9:52 am #1347380Hi,
Sorry for the problems.
To me this sounds as a main problem coming from WPML (and maybe in conjunction with the classic editor translations). As far as I know WPML has switched to translation manager (which is now part of the core) and deprecated the classic.
So as a first step please open a ticket with WPML (and you can also add the link to this post there) and provide links to your staging site.
The compatibility team will then check your problem and get in contact with us if necessary.
Best regards,
