Hi,
I’m having a strange issue with WPML. When I change the language from Dutch to English, the style get’s messed up.
Steps I’ve taken so far:
– installed and configured WPML
– translated the pages into English
– updated settings in Enfold so both languages have identical options
– changed default language from Dutch to EnglishNow, when I visit the page in the (now default) English language, all looks good. When I change to Dutch, the styling goes wrong. The dimension change (to default 1310px?), the .main_color changes.
If I change it back to Dutch as the default language, all is well. I cannot see what is happening. Can you help me out here?
Details are in the private content section.
Thanks!
September 1, 2016 at 11:06 am #680617I have a similar problem.
I have two language set : English and French.
Only the default language is displayed correctly. The other one use different colors for the header.
Checking the souce, I see a possible source for the difference in layout :
– Main language uses enfold-child (the activated theme)
– Secondary language use enfold (the parent)September 1, 2016 at 11:14 am #680621I also see a difference in the source with other avia-dynamic-css id’s that are loaded:
– Main language uses enfold_child.css
– Other language uses enfold_child_nl.cssSeptember 1, 2016 at 11:18 am #680629Switching to enfold (parent), I still ahve the issue.
But I now see that there is a missing .css file in the secondary language :
Primary language loads /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css
Secondary language is not loading that file.- This reply was modified 8 years, 3 months ago by polynome.
September 1, 2016 at 11:19 am #680631If I change default to Dutch and English to secondary, all goes well. Then the other language uses enfold_child_en.css, but this file is identical to enfold_child.css

I can not promise this would solve it for you, nor that it’s a definitive fix, but here is waht I did =
– Export my settings for enfold-child
– Activate enfold (parent)
– Import my settings – at this point, the secondary language is still not loading the dynamic_avia css
– Update the homepage in the secondary language – fomr some reason( caching ?), the secondary language now loads the dynamic_avia
– Activate enfold-child – the secondary language now loads an empty dynamic_avia/enfold-child-XX.css (XX being the language code)
– Edit the theme settings in the secondary language (and save them) – Now the dynamic_avia/enfold-child-XX.css is correctIt still seems that there is a bug with the multilingual settings of the theme, but apparently, a workaround is possible.
