    Hi,

I have duplicated my images accordingly – both languages (English/German) have their individual filename, title and alt text. But when setting a background image in a Color Section it is always originating from the same language (even though when I select it via “Insert Image” and browse in the media library, everything is shown correctly). I see the wrong image then be used in the source code, or also if I right click and save from the Color Section menu. Pages are translated independently. Tried resetting the image, updating the page, adding it again, renaming – nothing works so far.

Wordpress 4.5.3, Enfold 3.7.1, WPML Multilingual CMS 3.4.1.1 (also updated and same behaviour on 3.5.0), WPML Media 2.1.22

    Thanks,
    eC

    Hi,

Check the Pages i’ve created (English Test and German Test), i’ve included a Color Section that’s pointing to the correct image respectively.

    Best regards,

    Hey Josue,

true – in your case it worked. But when I try on other pages, like home – even when having the media renaming plugin deactivated like you did, it doesn’t work. I was trying it on the english Frontpage – http://prntscr.com/calkgthttp://prntscr.com/calkmz – for the second section ( http://prntscr.com/calm2t ). But basically we have these problems on all created pages. How can we fix the existing ones?

    Thanks,
    eC

    Hi,

When editing the Page make sure you’re in the language of the page being edited.

    Hi Josue,

I did pay attention to that – but it is still not using the right file: http://prntscr.com/cb09dn – when I right click and save as from there, it shows what file gets linked. But you can see that in the source code of the page also. Hope you have an idea on how to fix this behaviour.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Have you tried not uploading the image from the Color Section but in Media > Add new first and then selecting it from the Library (that’s what i did on the Test pages i created)?

    Best regards,
    Josue
