    Hi,
I installed the WPML plugin and a few of the standard extension plugins but I seem to be missing something. It is looking for .mo files? I am new to the whole translation thing, but fairly knowledgeable about WP. Can you advise what I need to do to get the site translated? Just the front end?

    Hey!

The Spanish version of the site is showing the translated strings. Perhaps you a referring to the Widgets, to show different Widgets per language refer to this article:

    Cheers!

    Hi!

Problem is there are no Spanish pages (so it returns 404), you need the create a Spanish version of each Page (http://screencast.com/t/yQaY83usbyHK), i’ve already did this for the homepage.

    Regards,
    Josue

    Hi!

It’s showing in English because it’s just a duplicate of the English version (i didn’t translated it), so you’d just need to edit that page, translate the content and so on – http://screencast.com/t/i6rEMglDu

WPML won’t translate the content automatically, it allows you to have a different version of your content (pages/posts/etc) for each language.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Hi!

You are still seeing it in English because it’s not translated yet.

WPML won’t translate the content automatically, it allows you to have a different version of your content (pages/posts/etc) for each language.

    Hi!

WPML will NOT do the translation for you. You need to manually translate the content to spanish.

    Regards,
    Ismael
