We’ve updated Enfold theme and WPML plugins. One issue has arisen that I have a temporary fix in place.
ISSUE: For posts, use of CONTENT TEMPLATE (Template for posts) the body content is blank (not displayed) on single.php. But, if I switch CONTENT TEMPLATE (None) the body content is visible.
I’m using regular posts, not a special content type. When looking at previous (old) posts, the same issue is not occurring, just for new posts. The behavior is the same for both translations. I’ve create two test posts for you. See the URLS below as well as other pertinent information.
NOTE – Custom post types and pages display correctly.
Thank you!January 4, 2016 at 4:53 am #558999Hey Julie!
Thank you for using Enfold.
If you set the post to use a template, it will call another file called “template-namehere.php” instead of using the default sinlge.php file or template-builder.php file for advance layout builder. The question is who created the template? Is it from a plugin? And why do you need to set a template for posts?
Cheers!
IsmaelJanuary 4, 2016 at 6:57 pm #559405Ismael, thanks for your thoughts. Great questions. I did not create the templates. There seems to be a template for almost everything. What puzzled me most is that all the old content worked using the “posts template” and suddenly now only “none” (template used) works. I’m ok moving forward with this. I was looking for insight as well “why all the templates???” thinking you had an answer.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I might find the culprit of who/what my be creating these templates and if I can lock template creation down to admin role?
Thanks for your support.
January 5, 2016 at 1:20 pm #559902Hi!
There are several possibilities because of which this is happening so It’s hard to say what might be doing it without being able to look at it. If you like us to take a look at it and help you further please provide your login details in a private message.

try to activate a default WordPress theme instead and let us know if you experience the same issue or not.

January 7, 2016 at 12:51 pm #561152Hi!
If you see these options when you switch to a default wp theme it is not coming from enfold. May be someone put it there earlier or a plugin you use created the templates.
