Hi all.
We use Wpengine as our hosting provider and Enfold has worked well with both the staging and production environments of Wpengine. However after the most recent update there seems to be some big issues occurring when pushing the site from the staging environment to live. The site looks messed up with no way to fix it. I was on the phone for over an hour with Wpengine technicians and they all concluded that it had to do with the theme, and that they were seeing this with their other customers who also use Enfold. I don’t have a site to reference, because I ended up reverting it to the old version of the site so i’d be able to push the edits I made from staging to live.
Is there going to be another update that will solve this issue?
Thank so much you guys

If you disable the optimization of Enfold, most probably the issues will be solved.
WPEngine cache is not compatible with it.Best regards,

Would you mind elaborating further? I’m not sure what you mean by disabling the optimization of Enfold. Thanks so much!May 23, 2018 at 9:47 pm #961232I am using WP Engine (they are great!) and it’s working fine with Enfold 4.4. All the performance features are turned on, and I’m using Fast Velocity Minify plugin in addition.
I ran into the same issues pushing from staging to production. If you are updating from 4.2 to 4.3 or 4.2 to 4.4, the push from staging to production won’t work, because it leaves the old files from 4.2 and those files conflict with 4.4
Once you get to 4.3 and above, you can go with the standard push from staging to production process… but if you’re running lower than 4.3, you need to do it manually. Yigit helped me with it because my site went HTTP 500 white screen when I pushed from staging to production. but I think what you need to do is DELETE the enfold folder on your production site and manually FTP copy over the latest Enfold theme there after you push from staging to production.
Hope this helps!
