    Hi,
    we want to migrate a WordPress site to Enfold Theme. This site is still using WPBakery Page Builder. I can see the editor in the backend. At the frontend the shortcodes will not be interpreted.

    Initially we want to start with the current content. Gradually we will switch to Avia. I need your support to solve the problem.

    Hey hwci,
    Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately we do not expect other page builders to work with Enfold, our page builder is built into the core of the theme.
    I recommend building your Enfold site on a staging sub-domain and continue using your original site until you are done.

    Hi Mike,
    sorry for the delay. I was out of office a few days. I’m a little bit surprised at your answer. Some weeks ago I first asked the Pre Sales Support before switching to Enfold.     And based on this answer we made the suggestion to our customer to change now and to convert later gradually. Because the customer wanted to keep the current costs low.
    So please let’s work together to get the WP Bakery Pagebuilder up and running.

    Hi Harald,

    I’m not sure agree with what you are saying, this is what I wrote to you in the other thread:

    WP Bakery is not officially supported by Enfold, but it will likely work anyway. If you want to use the layout builder in Enfold then you would have to rebuild the content using that.

    If you are looking to transfer your current site to Enfold, then I think it would be better if you work on it using a staging site and rebuild the content in the Enfold Layout Builder. Once you are done then you can copy the staging site over to live.

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for your answer. “It will likely work anyway”. This is the current problem. At the moment the WPBakery Pagebuilder doesn’t work together with the Enfold Theme. So can you please support me to get it up and running?

    Hi Harald,

    That means that it’s likely that it will work, since I have seen several installations where it is working, but there is no guarantee that it will. We can’t provide support for third party layout builders unfortunately.
