Hi Kriesi,
I would like to speed up my site using WP Fast Cache plugin. But I am scared to because of what happened to me last time, and the whole site just broke!
Earlier this year my domain was http://www.havannamassagetherapy.com.au and then replaced it with http://www.havannaremedial.com.au by simply redirecting it to this new domain with the help from Bluehost.
So clearly the some directories in the server were still under havannamassagetherapy, so when I cleared WP-Fast Cache to start fresh, it broke my whole site and couldn’t get into my dashboard any longer. So now I’m running http://www.havannaremedial.com.au without any Caching, so it it loads very slowly. I’ve updated my Enfold theme just a few days ago, but was wondering will I have issues if I install WP-Fast Cache knowing that I am now using http://www.havannaremedial.com.au. How can I make my site work properly with Wp Fast Cache without breaking my site?
Regards,
RZURXN
Hey rzurxn,
I’m not familiar with that plugin unfortunately, maybe you could try another caching plugin to see if that works better? We are not in a position to say if your site will break or not by using third party plugins.
Best regards,
Rikard
It wasnt too terrible for me
