    I am using the WP-DB Backup plugin to backup my database. I am just wondering when it says it is backing up my database, does that mean that it is backing up my whole site styling etc. The file is .sql and it is about 10MB. If my website got hacked or lost due to an update or plugin etc. can I use that sql file to restore everything to where it was before the issue or do I need to be carrying out other types of backups also?

    Hi keifygeorge!

    We haven’t tested this backup plugin but if you look up their documentation you should be able to find the answer.
    I personally use wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ feel free to give it a try and do check out our recommended list of plugins here kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins/
