Hey all,
I just ran the update and am now facing this error when trying to access the site
wp-content/themes/enfold/css/dynamic-css.php on line 772
I’ve read the posts on this board and also tried updating manually via ftp but same problem.
Can someone please advise how to get this resolved and the site is live and I can’t even login to my admin?
thanks in advance

DevinNovember 24, 2014 at 1:52 pm #356751Hey,
I ran the update to 3.04 via ftp
Once again after the wordpress update the latest theme files break my site! This time the error comes up with line 806 of dynamic-css.php. I commented out as before but the site is still not functioning correctly, avia slider, progress bars and more.
Can someone please explain why this always happens and if I can somehow prevent this from breaking everytime? I realise I can turn auto-updates off from wordpress, but this is far from ideal
Thanks and look forward to some help to restore our site back to normal

Perhaps it could be a weird value your using in the Enfold CSS settings. Try creating a copy of your theme settings in Dashboard > Enfold > Import / Export and try hitting the “Reset All Options” button. Also let’s try the following.
1. Deactivate all plugins.
2. Completely delete the theme from your WordPress theme directory before downloading + uploading a fresh copy.
That may help when doing the next update.

I have done all of the above but unfortunately once the new enfold theme is turned on, I receive the following error:
wp-content/themes/enfold/css/dynamic-css.php on line 806
I reset the all the theme settings and deactivated all the plugins. I haven’t tried a complete fresh install on a separate domain but this is really weird. The login details are above so if you can see anything it would be really appreciated.
Thanks again and look forward to your thoughts
November 25, 2014 at 3:21 pm #357551Hi!
Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and make sure to overwrite all files – http://vimeo.com/67209750

YigitNovember 25, 2014 at 4:41 pm #357629hey Yigit,
Yes, I’ve done this – I’ve uploaded a fresh copy to the server and renamed the old one, it’s the fresh install that returns this error on line 806
thanks

It looks like you have the latest version currently activated but I don’t see the error anywhere. Take a screenshot of what your seeing.

Let me know if I can completely delete Enfold and upload a fresh copy, it looks like you have some customization going on. I think that is going to fix the problem. You also have various enfold files strewn about your WordPress directory which need to be deleted as well.

November 28, 2014 at 6:50 pm #359758Hey Elliott and thanks for all your help,
Sure thing, I have a backup here so please whatever you think will resolve it I’m more than happy with,
thanks again and really appreciate the awesome support
November 28, 2014 at 11:11 pm #359944Hey!
I uploaded a fresh copy of the theme and your not getting the error anymore. Make sure to keep your WordPress theme folder tidy. It looks like you tried to extract Enfold inside your WordPress root directory at one point.
Cheers!
ElliottNovember 29, 2014 at 1:32 pm #360066Hey Elliot and thanks again for fixing that up for me, really appreciated,
I’m not sure why that would have been extracted in side the wordpress dir, perhaps a mistake at some point, very strange,
I do notice now that the portfolio pages and grids are set to display “Currently: « Stretch fullwidth” and I cannot seem to alter this even after changing the display options. This is looking really poor so any ideas why the theme is not now adhering to the settings?
Is it safe to re-import my old theme settings from before the update?
I want to thanks you again for all your help with this, I could not have rectified all this without your help :)
thanks
November 30, 2014 at 6:05 pm #360311Hi!
That is their behaviour by default. They are going to fill the container width they are in. You can drag them inside a 1/2 or other layout element if you want to make them smaller.
I would create a backup first and then try the import but if you see problems it would be best to reload your backup and add your settings back in manually.

ElliottNovember 30, 2014 at 6:08 pm #360314Hi Elliot,
I did try to alter the sizes manually as they are already within a container. When I change the settings, the theme just reverts back.
Any ideas on this? Everything was displaying prior to the update, this seems to be the last issue.
Thanks again,

Please place the Portfolio Grid element inside a 1/1 column layout. This should fix the issue.
