Hi Kriesi Team,
I got a google webmaster crawling problem. Google gives me a 500 code for wp-content/themes/enfold/
What does that mean for me? Is that bad for my google ranking? How can I solve the problem?
Thanks in advance
Greetings Thomas
Hi tom77113!
Can you please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
this is not the problem. I increased the memory already some weeks ago.
PHP Version : 5.3.27 / 64Bit OS
Memory limit : 128 MB
Memory usage : 62.65 MB
Another idea?
Greetings Thomas
Hey!
Can you please try renaming plugins folder inside wp-content/ folder via FTP?
Regards,
Yigit
Sorry, what do you mean by renaming?
Greetings Thomas
Hey!
Please change “plugins” folder name to “plugins2”, it will de-activate all active plugins and we will see if the issue is plugin related.
Cheers!
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
right now I do not have FTP access. But I do not use a lot of plugins. I diactivated some all in the dashboard. Same problem. Does it makes a different if deactivate the plugins renaming via FTP?
Greetings Thomas
Hi,
I renamed “plugins” folder name to “plugins2″ problem still exists. But right now I have an idea! I am using a enfold-child. So this should be the right http://www.affaronissimo.it/wp-content/themes/enfold-child thing google should find, right? And this means there is not a great problem, I hope? But how come several pages on my blog obviously still link to the partent theme?
