Would it be possilbe to acheave…?

I have fallen in love with enfold and are very happy using the theme for a couple of different sites my company runs.
Now I need to make a new site for one of our portefolio companies and would like to use Enfold again, but I have a challenge – the site is almost too simple and I have a hard time configuring Enfold to do what I need.

What I would like:
A site with a background image – this I can do
A box with the content in the middle – this I can do
A menu in the bottom of the content-box containing icons and no text – that I can do
The menuitems is home(link to home)-email(acts as a mailto:)-twitterprofile(link to twitterprofile opens i new window)-about(link to a second page containing some text) – this I can do

BUT, the bacground image loads again when i click the About and again when I click back to Home – I would like it to be only the content in the content-box that changes. Is that possiple?

When the page loads, I would like the content-box to be slightly delayed, so that the bacground image is shown first and the the content-box fades in after. Is that possible?

I would be really, really greateful if someone have a possible solution for how to acheave this.
