    Hello Kriesi,
    we have 5 WordPressinstallation with Enfold (4.1.2). Today all are updatet to Wortpress 4.9
    From this moment I can’t change the Text in the Backend. The Content doesn’t load? But only for 2 Installations. The others run fine.

    Any Idea, what this can be …?

    Hi Monika,

    do you have the language Deutsch (formal) activated? There is a bug in WP 4.9 –> https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/42574

    A temporary workaround is to change your own users language in the back-end (if you don’t wish to change the language used for your site in general), this can be done from your profile page.

    Please download these two files:
    1- https://www.dropbox.com/s/oylrzlxp0d97ch1/l10n.php?dl=0
    2- https://www.dropbox.com/s/6hvov152yuj38gl/script-loader.php?dl=0
    and upload them in /wp-includes/ folder via FTP. This is a WordPress core issue that should be fixed in upcoming WP update.

    hi, is this only a fix for the language or also for other things.. my plugins cannot be updated anymore… I am able to install new plugins though

    @Jooster     It does not sound like a theme related issue. You could try switching theme to a default one and try updating plugins. Also, please consider re-installing WordPress and de-activating all active plugins.
