Since the wordpress update to 4.0, I’m unable to edit a page in the advanced editor
avia builder, and I am unable to edit our permalinks on webpages…Also,we are not showing that there is an update to the theme available…is this
something where we can update our API key so that we can update the theme
outside of our FTP? I am just not as experienced with uploading and editing files in an FTP and it makes me nervous that I might break the site. I already had our hosting back up the site.Also, I know the page editor was supposed to enable us to keep the editing header scrolling with the user while they edit, but now ours won’t do it…can someone look into that as well?

You are currently using a very old version of theme. After updating the theme, you may need to re-configure the header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/Regards,

I updated our theme through our FTP, and it’s still not allowing me to edit anything with our advanced layout editor and we are unable to edit permalinks. I have disabled our cloudflare plugins and our WP edit pro plugins to see if those were the issues and I still cannot edit in the advanced editor setting….Is there anyone who can look into this for me?

I’m sorry but you’re still using Enfold 2.6.2. Please download version 2.9.2 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

IsmaelOkay, I go into our FTP, I go to WP content, Themes and I drop in the new Enfold Folder Unziped, I checked the version it’s 2.9.2, but it’s not updating on our site instantly like it does on the video demo….I don’t know what else I can do…
The only thing I can think of is that when I drop it in our FTP has a pop up that reads “This is a partial 401” I don’t know what that means…
I am literally following the video step by step…

Please check the wp-content > themes folder. What are the names of the folders? There should be a single “enfold” folder there. Please download the file again from your themeforest account and make sure that the file are downloaded properly. Have you tried updating the theme using the Enfold > Theme Update panel? Add your themeforest username and API key. Wait for a few hours to see if there is an available update. You should probably logout then login again.

We have tried that, the problem that way is that our site doesn’t show that there is an update available even if I reenter the API key etc. So we can’t update through that…
I really need to be able to manage our site this week, this is getting in the way of me doing daily updates and site management/content management at my job…

YigitIt’s uploading now to the file “_” it has a folder in it called Kresi, and then enfold. I had to select all the files and drop them into the enfold folder, for some reason it wouldn’t show up when I dropped in the Enfold folder from the download…
Okay, it’s not uploading any of the folders…only the php and css files…I can’t upload the complete files to our FTP for you. Is there not an email address I can send the zipped file to for you? I promise I won’t use it in the future, I just can’t figure out why this isnt uploading to our FTP…

I’m sorry but we can’t upload the files for you. You might need to hire a freelance developer to update the theme. Have you tried logging out of the wp dashboard? Login again, see if there is an available update on the Enfold > Theme Update panel. Another thing that you can do is to contact your hosting provider, maybe they can upload the latest version for you.
