Just updated WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin to 1.4.14. After doing so, the colors on my website changed. I had to deactivate plugin to fix. Is this a plugin or template issue?
Hi!
Please try to save the theme options again because Enfold regenerates a dynamic stylesheet .(wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css) during the saving process and maybe the “new” css file will fix the issue.
Best regards,
Peter
The updated Yoast plugin essentially broke the theme on two websites I have under construction (one on Enfold version 1.9.1 and one on version 2.0.1). The updated Yoast plugin has no effect on Replete or other themes I am using.
Apparently the fix you mentioned above is not an option as a fix. I re-ran the plugin update on both theme versions. After the updated Yoast plugin is activated, the “Save Changes” button within the theme options is grayed-out and not available for use. Only the “Reset All Options” button seems to be available…
same problem here. saving theme options again isn’t working
Enfold is not the only theme having the problem.
I uninstalled 1.4.14 and reinstalled version 1.4.13. I’m back to working now. I sent a support request to Yoast, but I haven’t heard back yet.
WordPress SEO – Version 1.4.14
Completely strips the main content area from the website on all pages on my site…
I’m most interested to know where the problem is before updating other sites … Let us know! Thanks, again this theme is awesome by the way.
Compare these html:
WITH YOAST ACTIVE:
never-mind, I can’t get the code to display, but if you compare a simple page’s html with Beyond Compare or whatever you use, all kind of stuff is changed just from activating yoast. Almost like there’s a closing tag missing throwing everything off…
re-install 1.4.13 – version http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wordpress-seo.1.4.13.zip
The latest update corrected my problems guys and gals … :)
