    Good afternoon. I need your help please. I have just installed WordPress V5.4 on two different websites and have also installed the latest Version of Enfold, ie V4.7.4 with Enfold Child theme and it seems the theme is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

    When I create a new page or a portfolio item and select “Advanced Layout Editor”, it shows the Default editor at the top and the Advanced Layout Editor below it.

    If I try to type the name of the page in the Advanced Layout section, it doesn’t allow me to do that and keeps jumping back up to the top.

    Please see below admin login details to one of the websites which has been freshly installed.

    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your response Rikard.
    In the link you provided, it said “please try to switch to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options”. I am not sure where to find this.

    When I tried to Google a solution, it suggested installing Classic Editor Plugin.

    Will this issue be addressed in the next Enfold upgrade? When do you expect for this to come out?

    I manage and update a number of client websites so I’d like to know how to mange this issue.

    Many thanks Victoria – yes that’s working perfectly now – can you please let me know what you did to fix it as I have a number of client websites that I need to upgrade.
    I greatly appreciate your exceptional help and support.
    Will this problem be resolved in future upgrades?

    Hi,

    Victoria did what I suggest that you do, she switched to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options. You can click Enfold child in the WordPress menu, then you will find an option called Select Your Editor on that page.

    Thank you Rikard. My apologies – I didn’t understand your original instructions. I was looking under Appearance – > Themes and couldn’t see the option you mentioned.
