Hello team,
are you sure Enfold is 100% compatible with WP 4.7? I am facing some issues with it. I tried to update twice and I had to restore my site twice after updating because it crashed. Not possible to update to WP 4.7?
Is anybody else here having problems?
Thanks to anyone can give some help or idea.December 8, 2016 at 5:24 pm #722085Hey turistai,
Yes it’s compatible, I have tested it on my local server, you can test this by using the latest version of Enfold with a new install of wordpress. Do you have caching plugins enabled during update? can you duplicate your site (make the other one a staging site where the duplicated will be updated to wordpress 4.7) and give us temporary admin access to it and ftp access so we can inspect it further.
Best regards,

yes I had a caching plugin enable during update (W3TC). Maybe is it the problem? I will check how can I duplicate my site and let you know as soon as possible.
Thanks a lot.December 9, 2016 at 1:36 pm #722407Hey!
I think that is a possibility. Just post on this thread when it’s ready :)

NikkoDecember 9, 2016 at 2:13 pm #722419Yes, I had a problem… 500 error, not fixed by disabling all plug-ins and disabling HT access, the hosting company honed it down to some PHP errors , Had to go back to 3 days old backup… Still not sure why it was broken
December 12, 2016 at 6:16 am #722937Hi,
Our installations run fine under 4.7 and I haven’t heard of any other users having problems so I think it’s something local on your server environment. What exactly were the PHP errors?

RikardDecember 12, 2016 at 2:58 pm #723139Thanks Rikard,
after updating it was impossible to enter in the dashboard. I mean, it was possible to log in and log out but not enter in the dashboard. The system always addressed me to the homepage.
Now I am proceeding with plugins update, one by one.
Up to now everything is ok.
After that I will try again to update WP. But before I will disable the plugins W3TC and CSS Hero.
I read that W3TC is not compatible with WP 4.7.
I will let you know.
Thanks.December 12, 2016 at 8:50 pm #723356Hello Team,
no problem after updating again WP to version 4.7.
But I kept the plugin W3TC disabled.
Everything is running in the right way.
Thanks for the support.December 12, 2016 at 9:02 pm #723366Hi!
