Hi,
I recently, updated my website to WordPress 4.5 and usually in the past have been able to troubleshoot issues related to updates. I have made sure that I installed the Enfold, version 3.5.2. update and also created a backup of the website. I tried doing the installs of the theme update and WordPress update. While most of the website pages appear to be working the homepage will no longer come up and will time-out due to a redirecting issue. Any help or insight on this would be much appreciated. Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
If that too does not help, please post FTP logins here privately as wellBest regards,

Thank you for getting back to me. I have tried doing things through the FTP in the past but know that it can be somewhat problematic due to some of the size constraints that I have imposed on me. Also, I really like this theme and have thus far purchased three or four copies and will be purchasing another shortly for another project. I’m hoping this issue can be resolved shortly. I used the codeguard site backup today to restore the previous version of the website, and everything worked fine. I also tried to re-upload the theme settings file in Enfold but again when I tried doing everything kept running into the same problem where the homepage will not come up. This is for a volunteer project that I work on and I’m also working on trying to get a newsletter out tomorrow too. Please find the FTP information you requested in the private information below and thanks very much for getting back to me.

I deactivated all active plugins and fixed site url in settings > general and it helped. Please review your website now.

Thank you very much for your prompt and timely assistance in helping me resolve this issue. I had deactivated all the active plugins, twice but still was having problems. It must have been the site url in the settings. Thanks very much again and have a great day.
