Hello,
Since the update to 4.0, I’m unable to edit a page, each time i edit the page, the avia builder keep loading and nothing happens. It keep loading. What can i do to fix this?

Make sure you are using Enfold version 2.9.2. Then try the editor with no other plugins active.
The theme was updated before 4.0 came out so that it would work right at release.

DevinHello, I’m using version 2.8.1, but when i check theme option it says “Theme Updates No Updates available. You are running the latest version! Great!”.
I already put the username and API, nothing happen. It has been there since the first day it was bought.
If the update isn’t appearing then one of those pieces of data is incorrect. You can also update manually so that you have the most recent version.
I am experiencing the same issue as described by other users. Please note the following feedback regarding this error.
1. As soon as I updated to WordPress 4.0 the pages advanced editor stopped working. The page would load and I would get a spinner in the content block. The page would not load the advanced editor (which I imagine is the aviya framework) and therefore all the fancy modules to edit content / media were unusable because the page just isn’t editable.
2. If one tries to updated using the Enfold > Theme Update interface, the side menus don’t show. So that troubleshooting option presented in the threads simply does not work. It is very frustrating to see that the mechanism to update from the theme itself has been broken.
3. To update via FTP, I had to go to envato and re-download the source files, but I was kind of annoyed that I did not see a more direct link or button to the right version of the template 2.9.2.
After updating the theme via FTP, the advanced editor functionality came back. However, the new media gallery features in WordPress 4.0 don’t seem to be getting along with the media galleries in the themes. For example, I can no longer upload images into a gallery in a group. The first image works and uploads, and all subsequent image experience “500” errors.
This transition looks like it will be very bumpy. Please just keep us posted. We understand as users that there are always issues when there is an update, but it would be appreciated if you guys could post more clear or direct upgrade instructions when a major update such as this one happens.
With nothing but WordPress 4.0 and Enfold version 2.9.2 there should be no issues. If you have an installation where we can see an issue we would happily login and start debugging.
The update method from within the WordPress admin is the one given to us by ThemeForest to use with their API. We have no control over it and this is also the same when re-downloading the theme from ThemeForest. We simply have no control or influence how that happens since its up to Envato.
If you are having issues with the new media gallery which was updated in WordPress 4.0 make sure you deactivate all active plugins and do a quick browser clear of your cache for the site (force reload) since WordPress itself changed. There are still lots of plugins who have not updated even though the theme has.

I have the same issue as the other users after the update (the page continue to load).
I’ve made the ftp update of both WP and Enfold.
Deactivated all plugins and disinstalled the unnecessary ones.

It seems that page has the Blank Template selected in the page options. The login details you posted are not working, please re-check.

same problem until WP 4 updated
Impossible to change a page because of avia don’t stop turning….When i want to update ENFOLD in Enfold admin, the left menu doesn’t appear so i can’t reach the update option.
Please help it’s very urgent !I have to add the following info:
I just download the latest version from themeforest. But how to manually install because i dont’t want to loss my Enfold config (setting, WPML, style.css…)Can you please provide my an issue?

JosueI am also having the same problem with the Avia advanced layout editor. I have the updated version of Enfold (2.9.2) but for some reason with the WordPress 4.0 it does not seem to want to cooperate. Im not sure what else I need to do!!

I’m closing off this topic before it gets unmanagable. To date we have had 2 small bugs with Enfold version 2.9.2 and WordPress 4.0 so before anything else make sure you are on Enfold version 2.9.2 and try deactivating all active plugins in case an un-updated plugin or newly updated plugin is causing a conflict.
If you are still having an issue please create a new topic, include admin credentials in the private data so we can log in and see the issue live, and a full description of the errors/issues so we can re-create them.
Thank you and if we find any theme side bugs we’ll make sure to get them fixed ASAP :)
