    Hi,
I already replied on another thread but to isolate the question I will start a new thread here.
I installed the WOOF product filter plugin. I added it to my sidebar. I found a few issues that needed to be addressed.
-The filter does not work when the Enfold shop page is used. It has to be the Woocommerce page
-If the AJAX setting is enabled in the WOOF plugin it completely breaks the layout and the sidebar of the shop page is moved to the footer area.

Some advice was also given here:
    https://pluginus.net/support/topic/put-woof-on-the-left-sidebar/

So fixing this by using the right config, I have 1 issue left.
The WOOF widget is still breaking my layout because it is duplicate. It is located in the sidebar, but also in the main content area above the products.

I also read something on the forum of WOOF about this, but I don’t know if this is already implemented by now in Enfold :

This is because this theme has a shop template that does not meet the woocommerce recommendation
Ask them to insert hooks into the template – woocommerce_before_shop_loop AND woocommerce_after_shop_loop

Can you help me out fixing this issue ?

    Thanks

    Hey marcusss,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

This is because this theme has a shop template that does not meet the woocommerce recommendation

The theme does not override any Woocommerce or product templates. We only use hooks and filters to adjust a few elements in the product pages, so this is not the issue. You should ask the plugin author how the plugin renders the widget above the content or in the sidebar, and ask them if these hooks can be disabled manually.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

The fix was a setting that would add the widget by default to the main content area. After I manually added the widget to the sidebar, it resulted in double widget. Long story short, it was just a setting I did not notice.
Thanks for your time on this.
The AJAX however still has to be disabled in the plugin, else the sidebar is forced to the footer area and the layout breaks.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Glad to know that you have found the appropriate options. Please feel free to open another thread if you have more questions regarding the theme. We will close this one for now.

    Have a nice day.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
