Woocommerce with WPML

Maybe this is not related to enfold but let’s see if someone can help.

I am using wordpress 4.3 with enfold, woocommerce and WPML. My website has 2 languages (english and chinese). When I create a product in english, it works fine. However, when I create the product translation to chinese by pressing the “+” sign, the WPML will automatically copy some of the fields WHENEVER I publish the chinese version.

This really helps when I was entering all the products into the site for the first time. However, when I tried to update the product image (featured image) of the chinese product. It will keep overwriting by the english image. So, I am not able to have a chinese product image!

And I found category, publish date, publish status, product gallery, featured product checkbox are all have the same problem.

I want the copy function when I am creating a new product, so it is easier to do the translation with the original language showing on the screen and I don’t need to repeat of the fields which should be the same in both language like the category, price, sku, etc.

However, how can I stop the copy when I want to update the product image and product gallery?
