Hi,
After updating to the latest Enfold theme (3.2) and the latest WooCommerce (Version 2.3.11) the product quantity/quantity in stock amount is not working properly. For example, this product (link below) is suppose to have only 2 items available but it allows the user to add an unlimited amount. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I’m currently running WordPress 4.0.5 if this makes a difference.
Thanks!
June 19, 2015 at 2:36 pm #461923Hey dwill21!
Does it do the same in the default theme? I would try updating WordPress and Woocommerce. If the problem is still happening then it would be best to contact Woocommerce support.
Cheers!

June 19, 2015 at 9:39 pm #462123Thanks for the response! I tested the functionality while in preview mode using Twenty Fourteen and it works properly. Additionally, I already have the latest version of Woocommerce. Do you still think I should update to the latest WordPress version even though it’s working correctly in preview mode using Twenty Fourteen?
June 21, 2015 at 1:45 pm #462348Hi!
You can add the item to the cart but woocommerce will give you a warning about the current stock. Something like this:
You cannot add that amount to the cart — we have 4 in stock and you already have 2 in your cart.
The extra items that is over the current stock will be cancelled or will not go through.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 23, 2015 at 7:36 pm #463598Thanks Ismael for responding but I’m a little confused. I see the notification a user gets when trying to add more than the available amount. However, before updating to the latest version of the Enfold theme and latest version of WooCommerce, when you had an item limit set, it would not allow the user to select more than what’s available. For example, if I set the products (hammock) stock available amount to 4, then a user would only be able to select up to the quantity of 4 products (hammock’s) before adding them to the cart. Any suggestions how to resolve this issue to make it work as it did before? Should I contact WooCommerce even though it worked while in preview mode using the Twenty Fourteen theme?
June 24, 2015 at 1:03 pm #463984Hey!
I think you should definitely update your WordPress to the newest version, as the newest Enfold and WooCommerce versions are compatible with the newest WordPress version. WooCommerce is improving/changing its features constantly, so if you really want and old function you would need to contact WooCommerce support for it.
Cheers!
AndyJune 24, 2015 at 7:51 pm #464287Thanks again for the response! I will move forward with updating my WordPress version to the latest one (4.2.2). However, I noticed that the “Better WordPress Minify” plugin I’m using is only compatible to WordPress 4.0.5. Do you know if it’s still safe to update even though this plugin isn’t compatible yet? If not, do you have any recommendations of a better plugin that’s compatible with the Enfold theme?
Thanks again!
June 25, 2015 at 3:49 pm #464592Hey!
It’s probably compatible, you can contact the plugin authors to be sure. As always make sure to create a backup before updating to be sure. Some other plugins you can try is the W3 Total cache or WP Super cache.
Cheers!
